  • In a very short period of time, the ytd stock performance of US smallcaps (IWM) has caught up with the Nasdaq (QQQ). Historic valuations of small caps and emerging markets stocks suggest there certainly is a relative valuation case for further relative strenghtening of these two assets classes.

    Personally, I have also been been finding most of my new stock ideas in small/microcaps and emerging markets. Two new potential ideas include a European small cap with a hsd % dividend yield, and a Canadian consolidator trading at a lsd - msd P/E-multiple.
